Neptune Co Working Hub
Summary
Neptune Co-working Hub is set in the heart of Herne Bay, occupying the old District Council Office. The newly refurbished hub is now an innovative, contemporary space for local businesses, employees, and entrepreneurs to work in a productive, creative, and collaborative environment. We are a Canterbury City Council project funded by the Coastal Community Fund. We opened just before the first Covid lockdown so have had a bit of a bumpy ride (like so many businesses!) but we are now fully open and welcoming an array of businesses into the hub.
Neptune has a range of workstations including fixed desks, hotdesks, meeting rooms, single office pods, and offices for one to four occupants and we hire our main workspace after hours for team meetings - we can socially distance up to 15/20 people after the hours of 5pm. All of our spaces are available from half a day to five days a week allowing members to hire the space only when they need it. Neptune is here to support pre-starts, start-ups and entrepreneurs, small businesses, social enterprises, and community organisations, as well as offering a place to work for employees struggling to work from home - for various reasons.
Neptune has a full-time onsite manager who is available to signpost people towards support grants and training opportunities.
We run coffee mornings for members, networking events for local businesses and monthly training workshops. Our events will help bring people together again and allow us all to enjoy a little more social interaction in the workplace! The pandemic has certainly highlighted that social interaction is an important aspect of our working life!
I hope this gives an idea of what Neptune offers. We are always happy to chat further about our hub so introductions to interested people and/or networking groups are always gratefully received! We offer free trial days so people can come over, have a good cup of coffee and enjoy working in the company of others! We always love to see new faces!
